    Chemical iron removal to help remove embedded iron particles.

  4. Clay treatment

    Remove bonded contaminants and leave the paint smoother.

  5. Paint preparation

    Thoroughly prepare the surface so the ceramic coating can properly bond.

  6. Ceramic coating

    Apply the 5-year ceramic coating to the prepared paint.

  7. Final inspection

Ceramic Coating FAQs

Ceramic coating vs. wax — what's the difference?

Wax sits on top of the paint and lasts a few months. A ceramic coating chemically bonds to the clear coat and lasts years, with far better resistance to UV, chemicals and water spots.

Does the paint need correction first?

Not always. If the paint is already in good condition, the Essential Ceramic package preps and coats it without machine polishing. If there are light swirls or you want more gloss, Signature Gloss adds a one-step machine polish before the coating goes on.

Will the coating hide scratches or swirls?

No. A ceramic coating does not remove existing scratches, swirls or paint defects, and it doesn't make paint scratch-proof. Polishing is what improves the appearance of the paint — the coating then protects that finish.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

Both packages use a 5-year ceramic coating. Real-world durability depends on how the vehicle is washed and maintained — follow the aftercare below and the finish will keep beading for years.

Do I still need to wash the car?

Yes, but it's much easier. Dirt releases with less effort and the car stays cleaner between washes. Avoid automatic brush washes, and consider the Prestige Club for regular maintenance.

Can you apply it at my home?

Yes. A garage or covered spot is ideal so the coating can cure without rain or dust.

How soon can I drive after coating?

Right away for normal driving, but keep it dry and out of the rain for the first 24 hours and don't wash it for about a week.
